What is your Drive?

Hey friends!

Anthony here.

It's been almost 2 months since my last entry, and I wanted to bring you something fresh from Anthony's Brain!!! Just kidding, but it will be fresh.

Today I would like to talk about Drive. What is Drive? According to www.Dictionary.com, it means to send, expel, or otherwise cause to move by force or compulsion. If we go with this definition as it directly relates to your life, and/or business, your drive is your motivation. Motivation to do what? Achieve everything that you want to achieve. Most successful people set a goal with a deadline, put a plan of action into place, then take off running without looking behind.

Successful people aren't necessarily so different from you and I. But the difference lies in the fact that they take MASSIVE action to achieve what they set out to do. Think about it. How many times have we said "I'm going to work and get that promotion" or "Next year we're going to take that family vacation we always talk about"? Then something strange happens. Suddenly, something in life distracts you from hitting those goals. Someone at work upset you, or your company decided to downsize. The family vacation gets put on hold because unsuspecting bills arise and they take priority over anything else. And there we go. We give up. We give up hope, faith and happiness, then blame it on someone else.

Let me ask you, is there something in your life that you set forth to do never get done because life got in the way? Do you thinnk that life doesn't get in the way for those setting out to achieve their goals as well? The answer to that is, of course. But what successful people do is keep pushing forward and not let the obstacle deprive them from their goal.

The drive makes all of the difference. Drive keeps a car going in inclement whether, or treading uphill. Drive keeps the Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki on top of the financial pyramid through this so-called "recession". Drive is what keeps Lance Armstrong, Micheal Phelps, Venus & Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Kobe Bryant, Tom Brady, etc. at the top their game. Guess what? You can do this too. Set your goals, commit to them then use that DRIVE to get their. "Success is not the destination, but the journey itself".

So put your drive to work for you. In the long run, you'll be very happy that you did!
